i2i cans Jewellery & Watch London

I2i Events, the organisers of Jewellery & Watch London (JWL) and Jewellery & Watch Birmingham (JWB), has confirmed that the London event will not take place this year. 

Organisers say they that JWL, which is usually held in June, could not secure its preferred dates at the Saatchi Gallery.

Julie Driscoll, portfolio director for Jewellery & Watch at i2i Events, said: “Jewellery & Watch Birmingham 2015 has had its most successful edition with more exhibitors re-booking space than ever before.

“Last year we informed our Jewellery & Watch London customers that we would not be holding the event in June due to unavailability of dates at the Saatchi Gallery. Happily, most of these customers moved to JWB and have had an extremely successful show.”

Driscoll added that this year the group will be focusing its efforts on JWB 2016, which it says already has a waiting list of new customers.

She said that the opportunities offered by the introduction of Resort World, a new destination leisure and entertainment complex, are “vast” and are helping the group to expand its international visitor and exhibitor base at JWB.

Driscoll added: “The fashion and jewellery portfolio at i2i events group is continually expanding and is planning further growth for 2016 to be announced later this year.”
