TH March to feature in BBC documentary

Jewellery insurance brokers TH March has announced it will appear on a BBC TV documentary about insurance claims. 

The documentary series, Claimed and Shamed, is now in its fifth series and looks at the “ever-growing problem” of insurance fraud, often featuring “outlandish” claimants as they’re caught on camera.

TH March – which is set to appear in three programmes throughout the series – will make its debut on the documentary tomorrow (Tuesday, June 2).

The programme will include filmed interviews with the managing director of TH March, Neil McFarlane, who will provide background explanation to the suspect claims alongside telephone voice recordings and visual dramatisations with actors and voiceovers.

Neil McFarlane said: “A great reputation for paying out claims can, just occasionally, attract certain criminal elements that may gain the mistaken impression that we are something of a push over. ‘Claimed and Shamed’ has given us the opportunity to show that whilst our default is always from the standpoint that a claim is genuine, we are also vigilant when it comes to possible fraud.”
