The Cheshire Watch Company has relocated to a new store on Aderley Road in Wilmslow, moving out of its previous position in Manchester city centre.

The company said it wanted to bring the shop to its customers, following research that found its existing customers largely came from Wilmslow, Hale and Alderley Edge.

The store will stock fine diamond jewellery and pre-owned watches with brands ranging from Rolex, Cartier, Patek Philippe, Richard Mille and Panerai.

Christian O’Rourke, watch department manager, said: “The majority of our current clients reside in areas such as Wilmslow, Alderley Edge, Hale and Altrincham plus other areas in and across Cheshire.

“When the property in Wilmslow came available it was to good of an opportunity to turn down, to bring our contemporary high end pieces to the village”

He added that although Wilmslow already has a small number of luxury jewellers, the company is looking forward to bringing a “more contemporary” collection of watches and jewellery.

The store, which officially opened on October 10, employed a further three staff members to its team as part of the move.
