Adryan Cresswell, head of commerce, said: “We dispatched the first Anaïs Paris orders to the UK independents sector at the start of July and are very excited indeed with the early sell-out reports to consumers.”
He said that despite it being “a quiet time of year for silver jewellery”, retailers are already replenishing their initial sales to consumers and his firm is seeing strong repeat orders coming in.
He added: “Interestingly, we have experience of the early sell-out of Emozioni, which has become one of the best-selling jewellery brands in the UK, and what we are seeing with Anaïs Paris exceeds what we achieved with Emozioni in the early days. That is not easy to achieve and so we are all absolutely thrilled at Hot Diamonds with these early results.”
Retailers who have attested to the strong initial sales results are Oliver Gibson of Silvertree Jewellery, who described Anaïs Paris as having had “the best response we’ve had to a new concept since Pandora and the bead trend came to market.”
Tracy Devlin of Precious Gifts said the brand had exceeded expectations, and Mick McQuillan of Grace and Co said he was “sure that this will be one of our best-selling brands this Christmas”.
Cresswell says Hot Diamonds is not looking for any more than 250 doors for the new concept, as it simultaneously works on penetrating overseas markets.
