Forum Jewellers to offer free Valentine’s proposal ring

The retailer is launching a Valentine’s Day campaign to help develop its relationship with customers during the pandemic

Forum Jewellers has launched a free proposal ring campaign to celebrate this year’s Valentine’s Day.

The retailer is offering customers a free proposal ring to commemorate the romantic holiday in order to help develop its relationship with customers during the pandemic.

Customers must sign-up on the CMJ member’s website, with the silver rings on offer being set with cubic zirconias and worth £40.

Furthermore, couples will receive a voucher offering 10% off the actual engagement ring and will be invited for an exclusive appointment in store once the shop reopens.

Helen Molloy, Forum Jeweller’s director, said: “We wanted to offer men, in particular, an option if they were worried about buying an engagement ring online but wanted to make the most of Valentine’s Day to pop the question.

“We’ve had to react pretty quickly as obviously we were hoping to be open and to capitalise on one of our busiest days of the year. We’ve put together an integrated marketing campaign, including changing our scheduled radio ads to reflect the offer.”

She added: “Although it might seem a risk giving away free proposal rings, we were fortunate enough to have a sample box of rings which has meant no additional outlay for us.”
