Christie’s partners with Lela Rose

The collaboration will last until the end of Summer 2021, featuring three bridal trends

Christie’s has announced a creative partnership with American fashion designer Lela Rose, coinciding with bridal fashion week and the group’s private ‘at your service’ sales campaign.

The collaboration will last until the end of Summer 2021, featuring three bridal trends that will commence with the modern bride, a Spring 2022 Lela Rose bridal styled with Christie’s jewels.

Rose said: “Our collections are about individuality and personal expression balanced with a sense of  timelessness. At Lela, this could mean pantsuits and peplum tops to slim ethereal and pared-down dresses.

“Working with  Christie’s, we paired our bridal collection with jewelry styled in surprising ways; a brooch in a bouquet or styled in the bride’s hair, coloured gems, and jeweled headpieces. Classic looks with a touch of the unexpected.” 

The group’s private sales offering will provide clients with category specialists to source unique objects and works of art.

Neda Whitney, SVP, head of marketing at Christie’s Americas, said that the scheme provides access to “one-of-a-kind objects available for immediate purchase”.

She added: “Showcasing pieces alongside designers such as Lela Rose help clients understand our versatility and multitude of occasions where Christie’s can be of service.
