Flinn and Steel on track for £750,000 turnover

The company was launched in a shed on the edge of Sheffield at the start of the pandemic by Ollie Allen and Jess Flinn, the husband and wife team

Sheffield Steel and Titanium wedding ring brand, Flinn and Steel, has announced it is on track to turnover more than £750,000 in its third year in business.

It was launched in a shed on the edge of Sheffield at the start of the pandemic by Ollie Allen and Jess Flinn, the husband and wife team. Allen’s craftsmanship is paired with his Flinns’ business knowledge, and the company now has over five employees.

Allen said: “Before the pandemic Jess and I saw our steel rings as a great addition to her engagement and wedding ring offering. It wasn’t until we were faced with supply chain issues for Jess’ flagship brand, Jessica Flinn, that we fully appreciated the opportunity well designed and made steel and titanium rings had to offer.

“If you’d have told me in 2020 that just a few years later we would be on track to turnover half a million, I wouldn’t have believed it. It’s been a whirlwind of growth, responding to
challenges and seeking new opportunities. It wouldn’t have been possible with the hard work
and dedication of our team who keep everything running and growing steadily in the background.”
