Oxford saw the opening of the first John Lewis store, welcoming the range of British jewellery brand London Road Jewellery.

The brand is also stocked in 22 other John Lewis stores nationwide.

Behind the London Road brand are a brother and sister team, third generation manufacturer of fine jewellery, based in South London.

All design work and manufacturing takes place in-house where London Road has its own pattern makers and goldsmiths, who create London Road Jewellery collections from sketches and design briefs from Ed and Suzanne.

Each collection takes three months from inception to completion. The patterns are hand-made, firstly in silver, allowing for experimentation with different textures and finishes.

The London Road Jewellery offerings are priced between £60 – £3650.
