As part of its #withyou campaign and 365-commitment to the industry, International Jewellery London, has launched a new initiative – IJL Talks – a year-round platform for educational content.
Starting with content drawn from speakers at the IJL 2017 Seminar Programme, essential learnings, insight, experience and advice will be available in podcast form.
These free audio files will be easily accessible via the IJL Insider Blog or through normal podcast providers.
This year, IJL launched a refreshed Seminar Programme with five key areas: DIGIfest, The Academy, the Inspiration Theatre, Skills Lab and the IJL Trends Catwalk. All of these free-to-attend spaces featured speakers specialising in topics ranging from social media and content marketing to ethical sourcing.
Post show feedback from exhibitors and visitors confirmed that whilst they would have liked to have attended as many seminars and workshops as possible, time constraints made this difficult.
Having recorded audio at many of the seminars, the IJL Talks enable listeners to access the material at any time.
Sarah Kitley-Spencer, IJL event manager, said: “The seminar programme features many leading experts who review key issues and industry relevant topics and we wanted make this accessible to as many people as possible – so they could benefit and be guided by this valuable advice. The IJL Talks provide an unique opportunity to extend this information – and can be downloaded as and when suits.”
The podcasts will be launched over the next few months. For more information and to listen to the talks, visit www.jewellerylondon.com/ijltalks
