Family-owned luxury jewellers, Berry’s has opened a new boutique on Leeds High Street, dedicated to selling Vacheron Constantin watches.

Vacheron Constantin is a luxury maison established in Switzerland with more than 265 years of heritage and is known for its “intricate handcrafted timepieces”.

With the opening of the Vacheron Constantin boutique, Berry’s aims to support the high street by bringing jobs and support to the local community.

Berry’s team invested $3m (£2.46m) in the boutique, the only Vacheron Constantin store outside of London, in an effort to make Leeds the northern centre for upscale shopping.

Its neighbouring store, Owen and Robinson, will also be refurbished and will become an additional Berry’s showroom.

Simon Walton, managing director of Berry’s, said:“As a business born in the heart of Leeds, we’re delighted to be contributing to the economy of the city. We’ve been able to open the doors to the Vacheron Constantin boutique where other stores on the high street have unfortunately closed and are proud to create new job opportunities within the community.”
