Ethical jewellery brand Sacet has unveiled its latest Toi et Moi collection.

The new range offers a selection of rings, necklaces and earrings, spotlighting pairs of hero diamonds to symbolise ‘you’ and ‘me’.

Every piece showcases a different duo – pear and oval, pear and marquise or pear and emerald cut – set into organic silhouettes inspired by the natural world.

Meanwhile, the Butterfly Toi et Moi Pendant features a pear-shaped diamond and a marquise, with a small round brilliant at the point where the tips come together. Together, they look like the wings of a butterfly – a symbol of “freedom, renewal and change”.

The collection also features the Butterfly Toi et Moi Stud Earrings and each of these earrings features a pear-shaped diamond and a marquise, with a small round brilliant at the centre. It’s a combination that suggests a butterfly flapping its wings.

Lastly, the Love Toi et Moi Engagement Ring boasts two pear-shaped diamonds of different sizes at the centre of this toi et moi engagement ring, creating an asymmetric heart shape. Additionally, small pavé diamonds are set into the band.

Sacet said: “Toi et moi is French for ‘you and me’, which explains why this style of ring is becoming an increasingly popular engagement ring style, thanks to the romantic origins of the meaning.

“We have also seen many celebrities, including Megan Fox, Kylie Jenner and Ariana Grande, all sport these styles of rings, and, most recently, we have seen Emily Ratajkowski redesign her toi et moi engagement ring into two separate pieces. The origins of the ‘toi et moi’ meaning, along with the influence of celebrity culture, which always plays a huge part in influencing jewellery trends, most definitely explains why the toi et moi design is becoming the most popular engagement ring style of 2024.”
