Timex Group’s Swiss Luxury Division has announced an agreement for the development and distribution of CT Scuderia watches.
Designed by Italian watchmaker Enrico Margaritelli, CT Scuderia, founded in 2013, is directly inspired by 1950s Italy and the café racer lifestyle. According to the group the watches are a “union of vintage sport racing elements and superior Italian design”.
The watches also use the same perforated leather used in luxury sports cars that is made by hand in Switzerland, and features sapphire crystal dials, accompanied by the highest visibility LumiBright system.
Paolo Marai, president and CEO of Timex Group Luxury Division, said: “Swiss-made timepieces paired with Italian design and a unique consumer target, CT ScuderiaCafé Racer is a great opportunity to expand Timex Group Luxury Division outside the fashion world.”
Enrico Margaritelli, partner and CEO of CT Scuderia added: “CT Scuderia is a brand that offers a retro-modern collection of café racer instruments, from Swiss-made timepieces to small leather goods, straps and helmets, and is the perfect match for the elite world of café racing.
“After some years of independent development, we are now ready to partner with Timex Group Luxury Division, the future evolution of our brand.”
