Pandora has appointed David Boynton as managing director for Northern Europe.
Boynton, who was the former chief executive of The Body Shop, returns to an executive role after a period as an advisor and non-executive director.
The appointment follows Boynton’s tenure as interim general manager for Pandora’s eastern Europe cluster in 2025.
He joins the jewellery firm as it begins a new leadership phase under chief executive Berta de Pablos-Barbier, who succeeded Alexander Lacik earlier this year.
Boynton’s career includes senior leadership positions at L’Occitane, where he was managing director for western markets, and Charles Tyrwhitt, where he served as chief executive.
He is also a non-executive director for Whittard of Chelsea and a trustee for the British Heart Foundation.
In his new role, Boynton will report to chief commercial officer Massimo Basei. He will oversee regional operations across the Northern Europe cluster, focusing on the brand’s continued strategic transition into a full jewellery brand.
In a LinkedIn post, Boynton said: “After a period working as an advisor and non-executive director, this felt like exactly the right moment to return to an executive role. I’ve always been drawn to great brands, and Pandora has a powerful brand, exceptional talent, a strong spirit of entrepreneurship, and a values-driven culture.
“Pandora is also one of the world’s most sustainable global brands and that matters enormously to me. I’m excited to be joining the business at the start of a new chapter under Berta de Pablos-Barbier. The foundations are incredibly strong, and the opportunity ahead is compelling. I’m hugely looking forward to working with the wider leadership team and to partnering with the teams across Northern Europe.”
