Watch brand Reservoir unveiled its new Battlefield D-Day watch, which commemorates the 75th anniversary of the D-Day Landings and the Battle of Normandy.
The new timepiece, described by Reservoir as a “unified symbol of conquest, freedom and automotive engineering”, pays tribute to the Jeep and its crucial role in the D-Day Landings, taking inspiration from the Jeep’s measuring instrument.
The group said to honour the history of the Jeep, part of the sales from the Battlefield D-Day will be donated to a charity for the veterans of the operation.
A statement by Reservoir read: “The Battlefield D-Day model features a sand-khaki dial marked with the national emblem of the U.S. Army, the white star. The 43mm brushed finish dial comes equipped with an additional NATO strap.
“The watch features a retrograde minute at 240°, jumping hour and 37 hour power reserve all contributing to the innovative and radical way Reservoir timepieces measure time.”
The watch will be available to buy from October 2019, and will retail for £3,500.
