Lebrusan Studio has announced the launch of a “compact” new selection of ready-to-order engagement rings, entitled The Candy Pop collection.
The collection, named after its “palette of sweet pastel hues”, features four hand-crafted rings with Sri Lankan sapphires in assorted colours and shapes.
Each gemstone was hand-selected by the sustainable brand’s founder and designer, Arabel Lebrusan, during a recent research and sourcing trip to Sri Lanka.
Lebrusan said: “Thanks to my Sri Lankan travels, I’ve now seen first-hand where our gemstones are coming from. There is an incredible culture of gemstone cutting and gemstone sourcing on the island.
“These gemstones are the full ethical package. The Sri Lankan government is displaying awareness of the impacts of mining and has control over mining processes and standards.”
She added that the supply chain was “totally traceable”, with all stones cut “a few miles down the road” from where they were mined.
The new collection features rub-over gemstone settings and hand-engraved bands that “showcase the best of British craftsmanship”.
Customers can choose from a pear-shaped “cool ice” stone, a cushion-cut spinel in a deep aubergine hue, a trilogy of white baguette-cut gems, or a rose-cut jewel in a yellow hue.
All pieces are in sustainable yellow gold and created in the UK, and unlike the brand’s made-to-order bridal jewels, the rings are ready-to-order and in limited supply.
Lebrusan Studio were recently shortlisted for two UK Jewellery Awards for their bridal jewels and “commitment to sustainability”, having incorporated recycled diamonds throughout their collections.
