Organisers of the Istanbul Jewellery Show have confirmed that the event will be further postponed in light of the ongoing pandemic.
The event was initially due to take place between 19 March and 22 March at the CNR Expo, before organisers announced its postponement until June.
However, due to the nature of the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, organisers confirmed that the event will now be further postponed, and will take place between 25 March and 28 March 2021.
The decision was made after a “careful consultation” with industry stakeholders, as well as the official decision of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Trade on 20 April 2020 regarding the postponement of all events until 1 July.
Organisers said that the Istanbul Jewellery Show October edition will still go ahead as planned between 8 October and 11 October.
It added that customers would be kept informed of any new developments as soon as they are received.
In a statement, the group said: “We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this has caused, and we hope you understand that this decision is in the best interests of the community.”
