The Birmingham School of Jewellery is hosting the work of 100 designers, artists, makers, gallery owners, academics, retailers and industry leaders at its All Golds exhibition.
Celebrating lecturer Terry Hunt’s 40-year tenure at the institution, those taking part have been asked to provide two pieces of work: one current and one from their student days.
Jack Cunningham, head of the Birmingham School of Jewellery, said: “Terry’s All Golds is a perfect exhibition concept: 100 individuals who have studied under Terry at the School of Jewellery over a 40 year period.”
Terry added: “Over this 40 year period, art and design in general – and jewellery in particular – has reinforced its significant contribution to the creative and economic health of the country.”
The exhibition is open until 25 November 2011.
