Details of the jewellery and watch retailer’s multi-season partnership were revealed ahead of the club’s recent game against Crystal Palace. As a result of the deal, identity the jewellers will feature heavily within Pride Park and on the big screen on match days. The retailer will also be the official sponsor of the Man of the Match Award, presented at the end of every home game by Rams legend Roger Davies.
Director of identity the jewellers Alison Warner said: “We are extremely proud to have formed this partnership and look forward to our relationship with Derby County Football Club. The club’s history and heritage is very rich and we see no reason why they cannot progress to the top flight once again.”
George Harborne of Derby County’s commercial team added: “This partnership again reinforces the commitment and desire of the club to work closely with businesses and brands from the local area, ultimately assisting in their growth through the interest and exposure that football inevitably brings. Identity the jewellers certainly fits with the community and family focus that the club has, with it being both a locally based, nationally developing brand and also a family run business.”
Alison concluded: “We feel our ambitions match those of Derby County’s, both desiring to continually improve and develop.”
