The mentoring programme is provided as a free service to the entire BJA membership, and matches approved BJA mentors with prospective protégés.

“We have found that there are many BJA members who are prepared to give up their time to offer mentoring services to other BJA members,” said BJA chief executive Simon Rainer.

“This willingness to give something back to the industry and for them to share their invaluable trade experience complements the needs of those who require expert mentoring to assist with the solution of business issues.”

Nearly 20 BJA members have offered their services as mentors to date, with the collective capability to offer erudite guidance on a spectrum of topics including project development, sales, marketing, sourcing and finance.

BJA’s mentoring website can be visited at www.bjamentoring.org.uk
