Roxanne Chu’s designs include wooden rings with living grass inside, a pendant of a cactus growing inside a test tube, and other miniature scenes of nature.

Roxanne, who is from Hong Kong and studies in the university’s School of Art and Design, commented: “I’ve taken my inspiration from city living where green spaces are in short supply. Wearers can carry the beauty of nature with them at all times.”

The fashion accessories will be on display at Nottingham Trent University’s School of Art & Design degree shows. For more information visit www.ntu.ac.uk/degreeshows
