Swiss watch brand Breitling has opened a 1,500 sq ft boutique in Kent’s Bluewater shopping centre. 

The store, which officially opened on October 27, is situated on the upper Rose Gallery and will be managed by Aurum Holdings, the owners of Watches of Switzerland, Mappin & Webb and Goldsmiths.

The boutique offers the brand’s full range of timepieces, includings its Navitimer, Chronomat and Professional models, as well as its exclusive ‘Breitling for Bentley’ collection. It also offers servicing facilities for owners of Breitling watches.

Gavin Murphy, managing director of Breitling UK, said: “The Bluewater store is a significant addition to Breitling’s footprint within the UK, in what is the most important retail shopping environment in the South East.”

Russell Loveland, portfolio director at Land Securities, co-owner and asset manager of Bluewater, added that the company is “very pleased” to have Breitling join its portfolio of luxury brands.
