HD Group reported 34% year-on-year total sales growth in December, driven by strong retailer sell-out on its Hot Diamonds, Emozioni, and Anaïs Paris brands.

The growth was driven by a consumer promotion on Hot Diamonds which was exclusive to the company’s independents channel. It said Hot Diamonds drove “strong sell-through” data during the Christmas period.

A free coin offer also continued to “positively” drive Emozioni sales throughout the Christmas selling season.

However, HD Group – which has three silver jewellery brands covering the classic, fashion and sentiment segments of the industry – said newly launched Anaïs Paris has been the “most pleasing” of all of its brands.

The brand launched in July last year and is now sold in around 100 retail doors, with many of the shop owners citing their Christmas sell through of the brand as “excellent” on the company’s feedback forms.

Adryan Cresswell, head of commerce, said: “In terms of the future, what is most pleasing is that it appears we are delivering our strategy of nurturing three strong brands to cover the three primary segments of silver jewellery: classic, fashion and sentiment. If we can continue to do this, the future is bright.”
