Luxury fashion house ChloƩ has achieved B Corp certification, Richemont has announced.
The certification comes in line with ChloĆ©ās mission āWomen Forward. For a Fairer Futureā and provides the brand with a framework to āaccelerate and guideā its transformation in becoming a purpose-driven model.Ā
By becoming B Corp certified, ChloĆ© āreinforces its ongoing commitment to environmental and social actionsā at a time where the brand is āreinventingā how it conducts business, Richemont said.Ā
B Corp is a certification created by B Lab that evaluates brandsā social and environmental impact, with over 300 questions on governance, workers, communities and impact on the environment.Ā
The B Corp Certification assesses the overall positive impact of the companies that stand behind it and commits them to a continuous improvement process.
The certification ādemonstrates the brandās progress and reinforces its commitment to improve and challenge itself to continuously do betterā, using business as a āforce for good to benefit all people, communities and the planetā, said Richemont.
