Maya Gemstones has launched its ‘New Classic’ collection which fuses classic style and modern, architectural design, with stones such as Spinel and Green Tourmaline.

Last year, the jeweller reported a 23% increase in engagement ring sales, along with an increase in bespoke requests, which led to the expansion of its Perfect Ring collection.

New for January 2022, the collection features four pieces, which are made of 18ct white gold and diamonds.

The stones are Pink Tourmaline, Blue Topaz, Green Tourmaline and Spinel; the latter two being new stones for Maya Gemstones.

Each central stone has been crafted using the brand’s triangular ‘Maya cut’, which has been created with 28 gleaming facets.

Olga Pekarevskaia, founder of Maya Gemstones, said: “We’ve been playing around with a variety of different stones and metals for the past year and really wanted to expand the engagement offering, in particular, as we’ve had a lot of bespoke requests since the pandemic started.

“While the New Classic collection works perfectly for those looking for something different and unique in terms of proposals, I am a huge fan of self-gifting and do believe these pieces work perfectly for that too. I personally wear the green tourmaline ring as a statement piece.”
