Christie’s Jewels Online: La Dolce Vita auction, which took place between 1 and 10 March, achieved a total of £2,052,724, with 157% hammer above low estimate and 93% sold by lot.

The auction attracted participation from 38 countries, across four continents, and 25% of bidders and buyers to sale were millennial collectors.

The top jewels of the sale were an old cut diamond ring of over 25 carats, which achieved £316,583, alongside a pair of old cut diamonds, of over 12 carats each, which fetched £253,266.
