Hannah Martin London has announced the launch of its tenth collection, The Perfect Drug.

The collection comprises convertible necklaces and earrings, rings and bracelets with prices ranging from £800 to £25,000.

The 26-piece collection “rejects a world numbed by distraction, whether it be from screens, substance abuse or the overwhelming pace of modern life”.

Many of the pieces are crafted from 18 carat yellow gold amid an austere palette of steel grey diamonds, 18 ct white gold, sterling silver and ebony.

Pieces are also crafted chainmail in gold and silver and include workaday objects such as bolts, studs and hinges or precious metal orbs that are studded with reverse-set diamonds.

A throwaway concert wristband is transformed into a chainmail bracelet that is secured with a hardware-inspired toggle of gold.

The collection integrates a broad range of inspiration from Vivienne Westwood’s combination of punk provocation and reverence for tradition and craftsmanship.
