Sowden, who has previously held roles at companies such as LVMH, Jigsaw and Monsoon, will be responsible for marketing the Rotary, Dreyfuss & Co, and J&T Windmills watch brands.
Having started her career a Guinness, Sowden moved into fashion retail marketing. She played an instrumental role in the transition of Thomas Pink becoming a successful global brand following its acquisition by the LMVH group.
“[Liz Sowden] is well placed to support the international growth of the Dreyfuss Group, which is an increasing focus for the company,” said a Dreyfuss Group spokesperson.
Commenting on her appointment, Liz Sowden said: “The great brand heritage that Rotary has, having been owned for four generations by the same Swiss family, lends itself to a strong marketing story. Combined with a highly talented in-house design team who are creating beautiful and innovative new ranges to add to the much-loved Rotary classics, this presents great potential to develop the brand further and I am delighted to have the opportunity to do so.”
