Watchfinder & Co, the first major online-only retailer of pre-owned luxury timepieces, has entered the ‘new’ market with a deal naming it an authorised retailer of SevenFriday watches.

In a statement, the firm described SevenFriday as “revolutionary in a traditionally conservative industry”. SevenFriday creates industrially-inspired haute horlogerie at an entry-level price point.

Throughout the year, Watchfinder will introduce further ‘Complementary New’ brands, which “will be selected to complement the core business”.

Watchfinder receives four million website visits peryear, and 105,000 downloads of its digital publication, The Watch Magazine. Both the website and London boutique will act as points of sale, and by limiting the number of new watchmakers introduced, Watchfinder says it hopes to ensure a close relationship between retailer and brand.

The firm is also planning a calendar of launch parties and promotional activities to present SevenFriday to customers.
