North West jeweller Mococo has relaunched its website after reporting a 314% increase in year-on-year online sales.
The retailer, which recently opened its seventh store in the Pyramids Shopping Centre in Birkenhead, launched its new site on November 21, after a complete revamp of the look and feel.
The website will use 3D video content which will run in the background of the site, showcasing new collections on sale for the retailer.
New social media platforms including Instagram and Pinterest have been added so customers can share pictures of their purchases or ‘pin’ desired items. A wish list facility has also been created to allow customers to share desired items of jewellery.
Lee Hooson, managing director of Mococo, said: “We have seen an incredible rise in web sales as consumers shop online for convenience, ease and value. As the customer journey is the integral part and key ingredient of our business at Mococo, we have invested in the strategic redesign of our website.
“The new website will not only refine and build on our digital presence, but also create a great shopping experience.”
Danielle Borrowman, Mococo’s website manager, said: “Our website is an online extension of our stylish stores where customers can enjoy shopping for jewellery with ease and enjoyment.
“From the moment a customer clicks onto the website, we have aimed to create an indulgent, stylish online space that shows off our designer jewellery, has a simple buying process and is perfectly finished with free delivery and complimentary gift wrapping on each order.”
