Jewellery and Watch Birmingham opened its doors yesterday (February 1) as busy crowds flocked to see new designs from the exhibitors.

Organised by i2i events the show will involve over 400 exhibitors from the jewellery and watch industries, with some exclusively showcasing new designs and collections for the first time.

Exhibitors at the show, which is taking place at Birmingham’s NEC from February 1 to 5, include Endless Jewellry, Hot Diamonds, Storm of London, Parify, and Trollbeads.

Highlights of the first day included Alan Springhall’s seminar ‘Growing the Business: Things I wish I’d known and risks I wish I’d taken’, which looked at how retailers can make the most of their window and in-store displays.

With the second day of the event well underway, the British Jewellers Association (BJA) has awarded Francesca Marcenaro its Earrings for the Catwalk Award. The second day will be rounded off with the show’s exhibitors drinks at the catwalk café at 6pm.

Jewellery Focus will be exhibiting at stand 17V46, so make sure you stop by and chat to the team and pick up the latest edition of the magazine.
