Legendary movie star and politician Arnold Schwarnzenegger made an appearance at Baselworld yesterday to reveal his new range of cinema-inspired watches.

Making his way through a throng of photographers and fans, the former governor of California posed for ‘selfies’ with members of the public before heading over to the stand to draw attention to the watches.

Arnie’s range of watches has been designed and developed in partnership with the Magnum Group, a Brazil-based manufacturer.

The collection has been named ‘Schwarzenegger’, and was reportedly design by the star himself, drawing from his three main passions: acting, political life, and of course body-building.

In a tweet, Schwarzenegger said: “Checking out my prototypes in #basel. I can’t wait to share more with you. The countdown begins…”.

The 70-year-old is set to star in another Terminator film later this year.
