SalonQP, the Telegraph-owned exhibition of luxury watches, will be returning to London from 12-14 November 2015, it has been announced.
The event, which has been running since 2009 and has become one of the foremost shows in the luxury watches market for Europe, will be held again in the Saatchi Gallery on the King’s Road in West London.
The organisers said: “As one of the world’s leading art galleries, the Saatchi Gallery is an ideal stage for the best in watchmaking from haute horlogerie to cutting edge design and technology.”
Carley Ayres, Telegraph and QP publishing director, said: “2015 is the second year of the Telegraph Media Group’s ownership of SalonQP and its associated platforms. We continue our investment to further raise the profile of Europe’s largest luxury consumer watch salon and we are excited to offer our audience an elevated experience for the forthcoming year as we extend the platform further with the September launch of ClubQP.”
This year’s show will see the return of A Lange & Söhne, Tudor and Ralph Lauren to a list of exhibitors that currently includes around 30 brands and which the organisers expect will eventually match 2014’s tally of 82.
They join SalonQP regulars such as Chopard, Montblanc, Nomos Glashütte and Bremont, independent brands MB&F, Arnold & Son and Grönefeld, and many more. Auction houses Bonham’s and Fellows will also be exhibiting.
Alongside the exhibiting brands, SalonQP will present curated exhibitions, the winning watches from the Grand prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, luxury cars, cocktail bars, watch-making and craft demonstrations, piano recitals, strap and service bars and the much anticipated seminar series.
This year’s show will also include Inside A Second, a curated exhibition looking in-depth at chronographs – both historical and current – produced in association with Switzerland’s Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie.
James Gurney, SalonQP’s founder and director, said: “2015 is shaping up to be the best and most comprehensive SalonQP yet. Our intention has always been to entertain and inform and I feel the mix of brands, exhibitions and partners we have brought together will create a truly memorable and enjoyable event.”
