Mappin & Webb has received an expansion to its royal warrant after being appointed Royal Warrant Holder as Jewellers, Goldsmiths and Silversmiths to Her Majesty The Queen.
The jewellery store, which has held a royal warrant as Silversmiths to Her Majesty The Queen since 1897, has now been appointed jewellers and goldsmiths too in the year of its 240th anniversary.
Brian Duffy, CEO said: “We are privileged to confirm that Mappin & Webb has been appointed Jewellers, Goldsmiths & Silversmiths to Her Majesty The Queen. Previously our warrant was as Silversmiths to Her Majesty The Queen.
“This is a fantastic accomplishment for our team, and a significant achievement for the company as we celebrate another milestone this year – our 240th anniversary.”
The company also holds a royal warrant to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, and its master craftsman has been the Crown Jeweller since 2012 – As custodian of the Crown jewels.
