Andrew Mills has been promoted from brand manager to head of independent sales, while Makala McAuley has been promoted from customer services to brand ambassador administrator.
Mills has used his 20 years’ experience to initiate a new sales strategy for the brand, which credits him with devising and implementing the ‘Brand Ambassador’ scheme – a new way of working with every account.
The scheme, which Hot Diamonds called the “backbone” of its new sales strategy, aims to enhance brand awareness and drive sales by practicing “exemplary customer service”.
Adryan Cresswell, head of commerce, said: “Hot Diamonds have two very strong brands that are prevalent in the independents channel at the moment – Hot Diamonds and Emozioni. Both brands performed exceptionally well for our retail partners this Christmas, and now we want to structure ourselves so that we can accelerate our growth.
