Leatherman’s multi-tool bracelet, the Tread, has been exclusively released in the UK by distributors Whitby and Co.

In what the firm claims is a world-first, the bracelet serves as a wearable multi-tool piece of equipment.

In a hope to capitalise on the upcoming wedding season, the Leatherman Tread is being marketed as a wedding present that is “ideal for those who want their gift to stand out.”

Gary Woodhouse, sales and marketing director at Whitby and Co, said: “It’s a statement piece that’s useful for just about anything, it’s ideal for jewellers looking for something different for the upcoming wedding season.

“The list is endless when it comes to fixing things or simply just opening a bottle of beer, perfect for newlyweds everywhere.”

The Leatherman Tread has 29 functions, including screwdrivers, a sim card pick tool and a bottle opener.

It is adjustable and customisable with extra links and it comes with a 25 year warranty. The stainless steel offering is priced at £169.95, and in black costs £199.95.
