According to the jewellers, despite being in one of the largest categories at the event, it was crowned the best independent retailer in Scotland for 2020/21, which is the jewellers second year in a row after winning the competition in 2019.

McKellars said: “Having won our category two years ago we really did not believe we would win the final for a second year running. The category field is so large and diverse and trading conditions have been so difficult these past 18 months. To win for a second year running was truly mind blowing.

Our team works very hard to maintain a high level of professionalism and provide a service that is not only very personal and friendly but also wide ranging. We are very grateful to all our customers for their continued loyalty and support and for taking the time and effort to vote for us.”
