Andre Michael has introduced its first lab-grown diamond jewellery range for retailers in the UK and Ireland.
The range comprises rings, earrings and pendants which are available in certified D/E/F- colour lab-grown diamonds in classic designs starting from 0.50cts.
Much of the offering will be in larger sizes, differentiating from Andre Michael’s natural diamond jewellery collections.
Andre Michael is a Hatton Garden-based jewellery manufacturer and supplier, and the company said it has worked to ensure there is no risk of mixing up natural and lab-grown diamond jewellery.
Andre Michael said: “We have had very positive reactions from retailers. The value to the retailer is that the margins from lab-grown diamond sales are healthy.We are catering to our customers who have been continually asking for lab-grown diamond jewellery.
“We have held back from introducing these ranges as we made absolutely sure beforehand that our manufacturing processes are watertight, so there is no risk of ‘cross-contamination’ between lab-grown diamonds and natural diamonds.”
