Cartier reveals redesigned ‘bespoke’ boutique in Harrods’ fine jewellery room

Harrods has unveiled a redesigned Cartier boutique in its famed Fine Jewellery Room, dubbing it ‘an entirely new and bespoke concept for Harrods’.

The iconic high end department store has worked closely with Cartier and architect, Laura Gonzalez, who has used her ‘eclectic chic’ to style to re-define a classic environment with a contemporary touch.

The boutique is located in one of the two existing Fine Jewellery Room and will feature two private salons, a prestige area, a feminine area, a diamond area and lastly a masculine area.

Laurent Feniou, GM of Cartier UK, said: “Cartier and Harrods were both established in the mid-19th Century and have flourished over 150 years. This new Harrods room will be historic.”

Helen David, chief merchant at Harrods, said: “We’re excited to have worked with Cartier on this large scale redevelopment and to have launched their new boutique which, we’re pleased to say, is the largest boutique within our Fine Jewellery Room.”
