The first global launch of Karl Lagerfeld jewellery into the UK and Irish markets in September surpassed the company’s expectations.

The collection launched into Karl Lagerfeld stores and Karl.com while 17 House of Fraser stores across the UK and Ireland, including the flagship locations of Oxford Street, Glasgow and Dublin Dundrum, saw the jewellery hit stores with strong sell-through.

Other key retailers include Debenhams’ flagship store on Oxford Street as well as online, with an immediately positive response from their customer base. Goldsmiths.co.uk will launch Karl Lagerfeld this month, and many more new accounts are set to take the new SS18 Karl range early next year.

Eric Russack, vice president of global jewelry solutions and licensing for Karl Lagerfeld, said: “We’re really pleased with the initial launch of Karl Lagerfeld jewellery. The brand has performed strong globally, and we are especially impressed with the UK and Irish market results.

“Our strategy has been to partner with retailers that are a great fit for the Karl Lagerfeld brand, along with offering curated collections that suit the fashion savvy customer. It has been a pleasure to see the immediate success of the brand, and we look forward to seeing more growth in 2018.”
