Japanese jewellery house Mikimoto has announced the launch of its limited-edition jewellery collection for the Year of the Dragon.
The highly lustrous Golden South Sea cultured pearl takes centre stage and is elevated by vibrant rubies and 18k yellow gold.
The regal ring and pendant feature an energetic dragon wrapped around its treasure.
The collection includes a brooch decorated with ruby and accentuated by an Akoya cultured pearl.
Traditionally, a five-clawed dragon totem represents the emperor and the pearl in its hand is said to fulfil its every single wish.
