Peggy Grosz, senior vice president and creative director of Assael Inc, has left the company following its recent sale to a group of industry individuals.

She announced she will be pursuing new design and product development challenges following a short hiatus.

Grosz joined Assael in 2017, reviving the 78-year-old legacy brand through “innovative design, product development and leadership”.

Grosz said: “It was an honour to modernise such an historic company and work with an unprecedented inventory of ultra-fine pearls and coral. I was privileged to work alongside the late Christina Lang Assael with a wonderful staff and an incredible marketing team to build a brand that founder Salvador Assael would be very proud of. I am also grateful for the support of the finest retailers in the US and the partnerships that we built together.”

As it stands further details about the sale of the company are not available at this time.
