Athari has unveiled its newest jewellery collection, Tourmaline Tales, featuring hues of pink and green tourmaline.

Each gemstone is sourced directly from the historic mines of Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais, Brazil, that come from a 3rd-generation, family-owned mine committed to sustainable and ethical practices.

According to Athari, from responsible mining to environmental stewardship, their approach aligns with its mission to prioritise both people and planet.

The new range was brought to life by designers in Hatton Garden, London’s jewellery district. It showcases a wide range of rings, necklaces, studs, hoops and bracelets in greens, pinks, and fuchsia tourmaline.

Apart from its gemstones, Athari only uses gold that comes from a “single mine origin,” and it works with a group of mining communities in South America and Africa to guarantee that mine workers are treated ethically.

Athari said: “This collection is a love letter to traceability, craftsmanship, and the beauty of gemstones that are as ethically sourced as they are breathtaking.”
