Genderless fine jewelry brand Pattaraphan has unveiled its new Pre-Fall/Winter 2025 collection and will be available to shop online.
The story behind this collection is nostalgic and is inspired by the founder Pattaraphan Salirathavibhaga’s (aka Nok) childhood.
When Salirathavibhaga was young, she loved playing with matches alongside her twin sister – melting candles in her grandmother’s buddha room and trying to mold the melted yellow candle wax into a shape.
Although she could never actually do so, because the wax cooled quickly, the memory always stayed.
Fast forward to her second year of college, Nok found her calling for making jewellery and often with jewelry wax. She stated that it was “a full-circle moment”.
The word “Akani” in Thai translates to “fire”– the name of these designs that are inspired by the shape of a match.
The collection features red garnet and emphasizes texture. From match-shaped earrings to spiky textured bracelets and necklaces, this collection aims to depict the “spark” that happens when a match is lit up.
Nok said: “This collection is a reflection of my life and teaches us that edgy, elevated designs can beautifully coexist with tokens from childhood memories. A highly edited and ultra chic collection, Pattaraphan’s Pre-Fall/Winter 2025 is a meaningful amalgamation of experiences and stories.”
