Bucherer 1888 and Rolex have unveiled their newly refurbished flagship boutique in Knightsbridge, London.

The store, located in the luxury residential and retail complex at One Hyde Park, went through a 12-week redesign led by the Rolex Interior Design department in Geneva in partnership with Bucherer local UK teams.

The new façade – the first of its kind in Europe and second in the world after Dubai – draws inspiration from the fluted bezel of Rolex watches with metal, opaque gold and translucent glass elements.

In 1924, Ernst Bucherer, the son of Bucherer’s founder Carl-Friedrich, initiated a strong collaboration with Hans Wilsdorf, the founder of Rolex, adding the watch brand to the Bucherer range for the first time.

David Coleridge, chairman, Bucherer UK, said: “Our strategy has always been to provide the largest range of product, and to give the best possible customer experience, to make it unforgettable to buy your watch here.”
