International, diverse and high caliber: That’s how the exhibitor list for INHORGENTA MUNICH looks about one month before the fair’s beginning. Over 1,000 companies will be there.
Fine Jewelry and Carat booked out
Hall B1 “Fine Jewelry,” where exclusive jewelry creations and especially valuable pieces are exhibited, is completely booked out.
The number of exhibitors has grown by 22%, which means, that visitors can get to know a multitude of brands, such as industry giants like Autore, Frey Wille and Staurino Fratelli. It is looking similar in Hall C1 “Carat,” where diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, rubies, opals and spinels sparkle: Here too are all of the exhibition areas booked out already.
Inspiration from around the world
From Australia to Uzbekistan, Cypris and Thailand – visitors can get to know brands from around the world. There are joint stands from Spain, Hong Kong, Great Britain, Mauritius and China. Exhibition Director Stefanie Mändlein explains: “This year, we will once again be able to showcase a broad and international range of products to our visitors. Our trade fair is steadily growing and the feedback we have received from exhibitors is proof that INHORGENTA MUNICH offers exactly the right mix of a communication platform combined with glamorous events.”
The industry’s information platform
For the positive development of the trade fair, each year there is a large supporting program. With numerous offers, INHORGENTA MUNICH is positioned as the information platform for the industry and offers optimal opportunities to network. As part of TRENDFACTORY MUNICH there are diverse presentations and panel discussions surrounding this year’s focus themes sustainability and future retail.
Klaus Dittrich, Chairman and CEO of Messe München, explains: “Today, markets and trends are changing quicker than ever. Digitalization, changing consumer habits and sustainability – those are just some of the hot topics that top experts will talk about.” The Watch Talks will specially cover the topic of timepieces. Insiders provide inspiration and drive the discussions. A further important aspect is the promotion of young talent. The Campus Talks offer young designers and goldsmiths the ideal central hub.
INHORGENTA AWARD: The well-established industry recognition
The INHORGENTA AWARD, as renowned recognition within the jewelry and watch industry, is an established and solidified part of the trade fair. A jury consisting of industry experts and opinion leaders assesses the items of jewelry and timepieces and honor the winner with the coveted INHORGENTA AWARD.
It is awarded in eight categories. These include “Fashion Jewelry,” “Fine Jewelry,” “Watch of the Year,” “Next Generation Retail,” “Designer of the Year,”
“Design Newcomer of the Year,” and “Public Choice – Best Piece of Jewelry.” Last year the public choice award was particularly beloved, and it will be awarded for the second time in 2020.
The category “Public Choice – Best Watch” takes into account above all the positive development in terms of the watch exhibitors at INHORGENTA MUNICH. The quality of the craftsmanship and innovative design concepts will be recognized as part of an exclusive evening gala. The stylish event is the highlight of the season for the who’s who of the industry and is counted as one of the success factors of the trade fair.
