Hean Studio has revealed it is now reopen for business.

The precious metal castings specialist had initially stopped operations in light of the ongoing pandemic.

However, it has now reopened with a team of skeleton staff in order to keep employees safe and enable social distancing in line with government guidance. 

The firm was established in 1970, and offers a range of services including precious metal casting, quality mould making and waxing and advanced CADCAM services.

It also provides specialist platinum alloy casting services for high tech industries including scientific, medical, aeronautical and automotive.

Manager Jonny Spinks said: “We’re really pleased to be back at work and open for business.

“We’re looking forward to hearing from our customers again and being part of the jewellery industry restart.”
