Christie’s is preparing to launch the Geneva Luxury Sales, a series of live and online auctions, which will last from 27 October to 19 November.
The “season” of auctions will feature three ‘Jewels’ auctions, one ‘Watches’ sale and a ‘Rare and Fine Wines’ auction.
Live auctions (9-10 November), as well as the public preview (7-8- 9-10 November), will take place at the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues in Geneva.
The ‘Magnificent Jewels’ live auction will take place on 10 November and feature a wide selection of diamonds and coloured stones, including a rare 3.96 carat Fancy Deep Blue diamond and a 107.46 carat Fancy Yellow diamond brooch, by Graff.
The ‘Magnificent Jewels’ online auction will last from 27 October to 11 November, offering approximately 150 lots with estimates ranging upwards of £84,000.
Christie’s online ‘Watches’ auction will take place from 5-19 November, with over 200 lots spanning from the 18th century to modern times, made by the industry’s most celebrated watchmakers.
Items set to be brought to market will include a steel ‘Paul Newman’ Daytona by Rolex and the early examples of the reference ‘T’ platinum Tourbillon Souverain wristwatches with Remontoir d’Egalité by F.P. Journe.
