Georgia May Jagger unveiled as face of Vivienne Westwood collection

The fashion designer joined with the International Palladium Board in an effort to combine the jewellery industry’s newest precious metal with her own creative eye – which was drawn to rock legend Mick Jagger’s daughter Georgia May Jagger from the outset.

“We chose Georgia May because she’s absolutely gorgeous,” said the fashionista. “She’s so beautiful and looks wonderful in the jewellery.”

The collection takes inspiration from the Paper jewellery collection, which Vivienne Westwood first introduced in the Gold Label autumn/winter 2000/01 collection, and is a modern interpretation of the trompe l’oeil drawings, which featured on the original paper jewellery.

The collection emphasises the lustrous metal’s qualities, notably reflecting its lightness and strength through the intricate design and delicate craftsmanship of the jewellery.

Brad Mills, International Palladium Board chairman, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Vivienne Westwood for a second season. Her signature style has been beautifully interpreted through the detailed design and use of the metal, resulting in a stunning fine jewellery collection with global appeal.”

The nine-piece collection consists of the couture Gainsborough necklace, tiara and earrings, detailed with diamonds and sapphires. A necklace, pendant, long and small earrings, ring and bracelet complete the collection.
