Natasha Bagnall and Siobhan Maher won the Gold Award in the 3D Design Contemporary Jewellery in Gold or Platinum category and a Silver Award in the 2D Fine Jewellery category respectively.
Bagnall won the 3D Design prize for her Heroa necklace design, while Maher picked up her Silver Award for her Onyx and Sapphire necklace. Maher was also the joint winner of the Marcia Lanyon Special Award for innovative use of coloured stones, and received a Commendation for 2D CAD presentation. Maher commented: “It is always so exciting to have your designs recognised in such prestigious awards, and to be a winner of the Marcia Lanyon Award as well was fantastic.”
Sales and marketing director at Domino Andrew Sollitt added: “We are incredibly proud of them both and it is truly gratifying to know that we have such a depth of talent in our NPD team, which – when it is not being used to scoop Awards – is focused on creating winning designs for our customers.”
