Fashion jeweller Carat London has reported strong and sustained sales growth during the Christmas period, for the three months ending December 31.

The company reported a 60% sales increase during the period, while the total number of Carat stockists increased by over 40 stores during the final half of 2014, compared to the same period in 2013.

Chris Moses, head of wholesale, said: “We are particularly delighted with the sales information received from our Key Accounts and Furniture ‘shop in shop’ installations across the UK and Ireland, which clearly demonstrates a brand awareness and appetite for Carat products across our range.”

Carat said that while there are still opportunities in the UK and Ireland for business growth, growth for the company will mainly come from existing partners alongside a major push in Europe.
